Children may have different illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, GI disorders, sickle cell or lung disease, but together they learn coping skills due to the education process entwined in camp activities.

New Hope also provides community and after-school programs, weekend retreats, holiday assistance and social service coordination. The Amputee Coalition’s Paddy Rossbach Youth Camp This camp is a 5-day traditional summer camp experience for children ages 10-17 who have lost arms and/or legs or who were born with limb differences.
The Cavett Foundation provides charter buses leaving from the OU Medical Center to take campers to and from Dry Gulch. Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp Box 866 Owasso, OK 74055 Offers children ages 6-16 who have suffered major burns or disfiguring injuries a place of unconditional love and acceptance. The Amputee Coalition arranges travel plans for all camp attendees, including scheduling and purchasing flights for campers.
An individual assessment is required to determine an appropriate placement.
